Fantasmagorical is one of my favorite fun words. You might think it’s not in the dictionary, but it is – well, almost. The word from which it is derived is fantasmagoria, which is defined as an exhibition of optical effects and illusions. So, I must confess that I used it a bit out of context, but it’s still fun whenever you
want to describe something that is truly impressive.
Well, Glenn Meder’s webinar last night was truly impressive because he walked us through the grim reality that computers with Windows or Apple operating systems now contain circuits, posing as AI processors, that really are spyware to capture and report literally everything you see, hear, say, or do on your
computer – which then is delivered to people who, putting it mildly, do not have your best interest at heart.
It’s a huge violation of privacy and it opens the door for things like CBDCs, Digital IDs, and Social Credit Systems.
So, what can be done about it? Meder’s solution is surprisingly simple. He told us all about it and, amazingly, most non-techies can handle the process if they just follow the directions. It’s about as complicated as inserting a pre-programmed thumb drive, backing up your critical files, and reloading your favorite programs.
If you missed this fantasmagorical presentation Thursday evening, don’t worry. The replay is available now through Sunday. If you decide to apply Meder's conversion to your own computer, you will also find the link for that in the replay.
