Omar Mateen reportedly shot and killed 49 people at the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando in 2016, and his wife is on trial for collaborating with terrorists related to the shooting event. Her lawyers are asking for a mistrial as prosecutors delayed informing her that Omar's father, Seddique Mateen, has been FBI informant for more than a decade, and allege that he may have been an accomplice.
