The first few days of our re-designed NeedToKnow.News was successful, but also had a few bumps in the road as we discovered the need for additional server resources. We are moving to remedy this as quickly as we can. In
the meantime, please accept our apology for any cryptic error messages you might have seen when you visited.
We have received several messages from readers about the old vs. new site. To assuage everyone's concern that they will no longer see my personal analysis and commentary, please consider the following: - My commentary. At the top of every story, there is a tan box with the tag "- GEG" at the end of the text. That's my commentary (G. Edward Griffin). Actually, you likely are going to see more of my analysis, not less: it's just a different method of delivery.
- Daily Email
Digest. When you receive daily email digests, they will display headlines only, but my summaries of those stories, and the stories themselves, will appear when you click on the links. .
. - New Research Tools. This is really important, because finding data weeks or months after it was published can be difficult. Our new search feature actually is easier
to use than Google and it indexes every word in every article. Plus, as you type your search request, found articles are displayed in real-time. This is simply amazing.
- Social Media Sharing. This also is an important addition. The old site was virtually excluded from social media. You can now share freely and even email a whole news article to a
friend.
While all these new feqtures were being added, new stories were being posted to the news home page. To see them, click the above link or the button below. If you have a problem viewing the site, please try again in a minute or two. Also remember that there is a Contact Us link at the top of every page where you can leave a message.
