MY 4-YEAR EXPERIENCE WITH NITRIC-OXIDE THERAPY
Four years ago, my blood pressure had climbed into the worrisome zone. I believe that the side effects of most drugs are more dangerous than the conditions for which the drugs are prescribed so, needless to say, I did not want to take Statin drugs to lower my blood pressure. In search of a better way, I learned that a healthy body has its own way of combating high blood pressure. It produces small quantities of a gas, called nitric oxide, inside the linings of blood vessels, and this causes the vessels to relax and be flexible. As we age, nitric oxide production declines, and this is one of the causes of age-related high blood pressure. To counter that effect, the theoretical ‘natural’ solution would be to provide nutrients that are known to help the body's production of nitric oxide at precisely the location where it is needed most: inside the blood vessels. This theory now has been proved in the laboratory and, in 1998, the Nobel Prize was awarded to Dr. Louis Ignarro for the discovery. What happened to me when I started supplementing my diet with those ingredients – and what I learned since then – is explained in the following nine-minute video statement. ~~ G. Edward Griffin
The best supplement I ever found for high blood pressure turned out to be good for other things I never expected ... diabetes, neuropathy, periodontitis, varicose veins, and much more. |
