Many years ago, I made a
resolution to stop poking fun at global-warming believers with news stories
about unusual cold weather, snow storms, and blizzards.
Although global-warming myth-makers never tire of reporting every unusual
hot spell as though it were proof of their claims, I knew it was dishonest
to imply that short-term events mean anything except that they are
short-term events. Yes, of course, there will be unusual hot
spells, even in periods of planetary cooling. I resented the fact that the
